Hey, I’m Aidan 😀🤚🏻

You may know me by a couple names on the internet (Dog House Design Studio, the Amplifyr Podcast, etc.) but it’s all just me: one guy trying to make a living as a creative marketer.

I’m currently reconstructing the website but you can check out the below to learn a bit more about me personally.

I work in a 99 sq.ft. office called the Dog House

It was my dream for many years to have a little “work shed” at the back of my property as a home office. In 2022, that dream came true. We kept the name from its former function, and now it’s where I spend all my time working.

I’m a husband and a father

Outside of work, I’m a proud husband to my wife Leanne (11 years, baby!), and proud dad to my 4 kids: Leo, Betty, Walt. and Patch. They are the reason I do what I do. They have my whole heart and my life’s purpose is to protect and provide for them.

I’m a typewriter collector and poet

I’ve owned probably 30 typewriters in the last 10 years, although my current collection sits at 9. They are all functional and I use them regularly. Tom Hanks—massive typewriter fanatic and supporter—even typed me back a letter in the mail. I’m not one to get too attached to “stuff”, but Tom’s letter (which sits on my desk as a constant reminder) is pretty special to me.

I’m an electric guitarist

I also can play drums, bass, ukulele, synth, and sing a little, but electric guitar is where my heart and soul is. My friends got me hooked on it and how I can’t stop myself. Twice a month, I have the honour of playing on my church’s worship team. Electric guitar is some of the most fun you can have.

I love Jesus

I’m became a proud, born-again Believer when I gave my life to Christ in 2009. I read my Bible daily and I pray just the same. I firmly believe in the redemptive power of Jesus Christ and how much the Father loves us. It’s my life’s mission to spread the Gospel to help people find their way back home.
